The eight-episode series is based on Lee Child’s novel “Persuader” and will air on a weekly basis from February 20. The season sees Reacher go on a covert mission to rescue an informant and face a formidable foe from his past.

The wait for the third season of action series ‘Reacher’ is finally over. Lead actor Alan Ritchson revealed the release date of the series during CCXP in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Based on the bestselling novels by Lee Child, ‘Reacher’ stars Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator who is forced to reenter civilian life after being falsely accused. The third season of the series will stream on Amazon Prime Video from February 20.
Season 3 schedule and story
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the third season will have a total of eight episodes. The first three episodes will stream on February 20 and new episodes will be released every Thursday thereafter until March 27. The series will be available in over 240 countries and territories.

Based on the seventh novel in the Jack Reacher series, “Persuader”, the third season sees Alan Ritchson embark on a covert mission to rescue an informant and confront an enemy from his past.
Returning cast members for Season 3 include Maria Sten, Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart and Olivier Richters.
Lee Child will also serve as an executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and CBS Studios.
